What happens inside our home in the final two weeks before your puppy comes home.
Most families do not worry about the puppy. They worry about the first night, the first week, and whether they will know what to do. The 14 Day Confidence Window is our answer — the last two weeks before homecoming are spent preparing your puppy for real family life, and preparing you for your puppy.
It is part of our Signature Homecoming Method, and it is the reason day one usually feels exciting instead of overwhelming.
The final fourteen days, day by day
Days 14 to 11 — Settling the rhythm
Feeding times, nap windows, and quiet hours become predictable. A puppy who already knows what the day feels like arrives calmer in your home.
Days 10 to 8 — Crate introduction
The crate becomes a familiar, restful place rather than a surprise on night one. Short, positive sessions inside our home, never forced.
Days 7 to 5 — Pee pad foundations
Puppies learn where to go before they learn your floor plan. It is not potty training, but it gives your first week a head start.
Days 4 to 3 — Grooming exposure
Brush, paws, ears, and the sound of clippers. Gentle handling now means an easier first grooming appointment later.
Days 2 to 1 — Homecoming prep with your family
Licensed veterinary exam, health records, food transition plan, and a FaceTime walkthrough so you know exactly what day one looks like.
