At Kid’s Best Doodle, puppies are raised inside our home, not in a kennel environment. Their early weeks are shaped by daily interaction, household sounds, children, structure, gentle handling, and consistent routines so they can begin life with confidence and a smoother transition into their future home.
Where are Kid's Best Doodle puppies raised?
Kid's Best Doodle puppies are raised inside our family home in Lancaster, California, not in a kennel building. From their first weeks they hear normal household sounds, see people moving through the house, and grow up inside the rhythm of daily family life.
How much daily human contact does each puppy get?
Every Kid's Best Doodle puppy is handled, observed, and talked to daily by our family. That daily contact is also how we learn each puppy's temperament, confidence, energy level, and how they naturally relate to people.
What early socialization do the puppies receive?
Puppies at Kid's Best Doodle are introduced to age-appropriate sights, sounds, textures, and everyday household activity, including Early Neurological Stimulation from days 3 to 16. The goal is a calmer, more adaptable start, not a guaranteed personality.
Are the puppies raised around children?
Yes. Kid's Best Doodle puppies grow up around children and ordinary household routines, so the movement, noise, and energy of family life is familiar before homecoming. Every home is different, so we still coach families on gentle, supervised introductions.
What routines start before a puppy goes home?
Before homecoming, Kid's Best Doodle puppies are introduced to a feeding rhythm, rest periods, pee pad foundations, crate familiarity, and grooming handling. These foundations are meant to make your first weeks feel less overwhelming, and families continue them at home.
What veterinary care is done before homecoming?
Each Kid's Best Doodle puppy receives a licensed veterinary wellness exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and a microchip before go-home day, and families receive the health records. Our parent dogs are Embark DNA health tested, which informs pairings but cannot guarantee an individual puppy's health.
How do you match a puppy to a family?
We match by observed temperament rather than looks. Because we live with the litter, we can speak honestly about which Kid's Best Doodle puppy suits your household, activity level, and expectations — and we would rather tell a family to wait than place the wrong puppy.
What support continues after homecoming?
Kid's Best Doodle families receive photo and video updates before homecoming, a FaceTime or Zoom visit with their puppy, preparation guidance, and lifetime breeder support afterward. First-night questions, food, crate, grooming, and adjustment questions all come straight to us.
