What hypoallergenic actually means
No dog is 100% allergen-free. Pet allergies are triggered by a protein in saliva, urine, and dander — not the fur itself. When a coat sheds less, less dander is released into the air and onto furniture, which is why low- and non-shedding dogs feel dramatically easier for sensitive families.
Our families with mild-to-moderate allergies routinely live comfortably with our puppies. Severe allergy households should still meet a puppy in person or on FaceTime first.
Why generation matters more than the word 'doodle'
- F1 (50% Poodle): wavy coat, usually low shedding — but not the most predictable.
- F1B (75% Poodle): curlier, very low shedding, strong allergy-friendly fit for most families.
- F1BB and Multigen (87%+ Poodle): the most consistent non-shedding, hypoallergenic coats. This is our specialty.
How we set expectations honestly
We do not promise allergy-proof. We do tell you exactly what generation your puppy is, what to expect from the coat, and how parent coats have presented in past litters. If you have severe allergies, we walk you through it on FaceTime before you commit anything.
What to ask any breeder
- What generation is the puppy (F1, F1B, F1BB, Multigen)?
- Have past litters from these parents been low or non-shedding?
- Can I see the parents' coats?
- Can we do a meet — in person or on FaceTime — before reserving?
